This will be Bob's third independent effort to raise money and awareness for three important causes and making it a million dollar ride! Beginning in Vancouver, Canada, the 70-year-old humanitarian will follow the western coast of the country into Mexico, and then return to California to cross the finish line in San Diego the starting point of his first RIDE. |
Bob's "pedal power" is inspired by all of the people who suffer each day with cancer or ALS and those facing end of life. Having spent many years in the corporate world, Bob "redirected his life" more than a decade ago, dedicating much of his time to volunteer work and benevolent activities such as the RIDES. |
100% of donations received will fund research conducted by the American Cancer Society, The Les Turner ALS foundation and end of life planning through the National Hospice Foundation and Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois.
